What irony it was yesterday when I met Dennis at the SA station and he was buying a new battery for his smoke detector at home . He said it just starting to chirp. Also I bumped into Mark from Certified Auto Repair last nite (my Birthday) at Tonka Grill with our families. We talked about his building and recent fire which destroed most of his equipment. However He is up and running and also taking on new clients. How interesting each or our lives do run parallel to others.

How to "tag" a business or person on Facebook

When you are writing on someone's wall or creating a new status update tagging a special person or business is a great way to create a link to that persons facebook page!
Here's how to do it:

Before you type the name of the person or business put @ and then start typing the name, a box will drop down and you can select which one you want. It should be highlighted in blue now and others will be able to click on it.

For example, if I wanted to say in my status update "Westonka BNI is great" I would start by typing @westonka bni and it should show up in the pop up box, then I would click on it and finish my post. EX: @Westonka BNI is great.

Testimonial for Denise at Bayside, Just Because

This past week was Jon and Kathy's 16 year wedding anniversary. Although our company, J&K Creative hasn't been around quite as long (15 years) we have been together for some time.

When I tried to figure out a suprise for Kathy I immediately thought of the great flowers and gift items available at Bayside Just Because. Denise and her crew always use the freshest and most beautiful flowers. A number of years ago I managed a flower shop and I know how much it takes to be consistently impressive!
